The first International Conference held on Aveira Portugal, within the framework of the project COST Action CA24126
On 25 and 26 March, within the framework of the COST Action CA24126 - DESIGNAE – “Fostering Nature-Centred BioDESIGN to Explore regenerative futures”, the first “International Conference Nature-Centred Biodesign for Regeneration across Disciplines” was organized in Aveiro, Portugal
Prof. Assoc. Blerina Kolgjini participated with the presentation “Biomaterials in Textiles” and was part of the discussions of the 2nd panel. “Technologies and Materials”.
The conference brought together researchers, designers and practitioners to explore interdisciplinary perspectives on regenerative and biological design, encouraging the dialogue between science, technology, culture and sustainability. The event presented peer-reviewed contributions and stimulated critical discussion on how design can actively contribute to a regenerative future across all disciplines including Textiles as a key element of everyday life.
