The Department of Energy, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Polytechnic University of Tirana (PUT), organized a workshop/meeting with students of the MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Energy profile) and the MSc in Energy Management on March 31, 2026, at the premises of FME.

The meeting was honored by the participation of Prof. Shemin Sagaria from the University of the Arctic, Norway, within the framework of cooperation between our two institutions.

The focus of the meeting was:

• Presentation of mobility opportunities for our students at the University of the Arctic.

• Presentation of the work of several graduate students who, under the supervision of Dr. Adrist Stermasi and in collaboration with the University of the Arctic, are developing their master’s thesis topics.

• Exchange of experiences regarding the study programs currently offered by the Department of Energy at FME and comparable programs at the University of the Arctic, Norway, as well as possible improvements to reflect developments in the energy sector.

The meeting served as a valuable opportunity for academic exchange, presentation of ongoing work, and further strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation.
We remain committed to expanding these collaborations and creating more opportunities for our students in the future.
